Action Stations

Hope everyone enjoyed Queen's Birthday weekend....

Today we introduced Action Stations in Matai....if you have children in Kowhai or Pohutukawa you will be familiar with these. 

Each week we will pose a question to the children and they think about this while trying action stations of their choice. 


This week's question is "How do we learn from someone else?" 

                           

We have started with 10 stations which cover reading, writing, maths, I.T., art, problem solving, collaborative activities, fitness and construction. 

They also help with Cognitive, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Co-operative, Social, Emotional, Language and Persistence skills.

    Kia Ora from Room 1 at Ohaeawai School. This looks like lots of fun. Can you tell us what you learnt about working together and off each other? We work in a collaborative learning environment so we are learning off each other all the time.

    Hello my name is Aimee Hogue and I go to Grey Main school in GREYMOUTH.I really like the way you are using 10 strategy to reading, writing, maths, I.T.art,problem solving,collaborative activities,fitness and construction.Maybe next time you could put a picture of your whole class.How many students are in your class? Well done.
